Reports are rife that Adele’s record label is FINALLY ready to reveal the singer’s new single.
The third single from record-breaking album “25”, not yet officially named, will be sent to radio stations next week.
According to reports, it will be the tune “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)”, to be released as a single, following “Hello” and “When We Were Young”.
Adele herself has been dropping some very obvious signs as she has reportedly hinted that “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” would be her next release at a recent show in Glasgow. Some fans at the shows reported that Adele was asking for ideas for the song’s music video.
Meanwhile, whilst we wait in anticipation for Adele’s new track, “Hello” has been making more history as it reaches its 21st week at No.1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart.
With its continued command, the song ties Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway” and Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come” for the longest No. 1 run among women since the list launched in 1961. It also equals the third-longest stay at the summit behind “Drift Away,” by Uncle Kracker feat. Dobie Gray, which remained at number 1, 28 weeks and “Hey, Soul Sister” by Train, which managed 22 weeks!
We’re very interested to see where her new single charts this summer with competition from the likes of Zara Larsson and ZAYN.
